Temple Dedication

We were so privileged to be here in time for the Atlanta temple re-opening. This is us at the open house. We went on a Friday evening and so it was packed. We still were able to get a parking spot right outside the door and get right into the chapel for the opening. It was great.

The next weekend after the open house, Joshua got to participate in the cultural event with President Monson and Elder Ballard here. They called it "Southern Lights" and each stake's youth were assigned a song to dance to. The youth did an awesome job! We were fortunate enough to get tickets for the whole family. It was a lot of fun to be in the building for it with President Monson. We learned the history of the church in the south. It was very well done! Joshua's group was assigned "Surfing USA".

  1. Wow... so cool that Joshua got to participate in the cultural event! That's something our youth here will never forget. They continue to talk about it 3 years later.
