The kids were on spring break and Grandma needed a ride back from Iowa to here so we took a couple of Mike's free hotel nights and took off on an adventure. Mike needs to save his vacation days for surgery/surgeries?? so he couldn't come. We visited with family and tried to be helpful around Great Grandma and Grandpa's house. We were glad to finally make it down there. We've been so busy and had multiple illnesses this winter that made it impossible to go not to mention the challenge it is to travel with these kids - especially alone. Try finding fat free food in the tiny towns of Iowa. Over all...a good trip. The kids favorite part...swimming.
Mike and Joshua had fun going to their first priesthood session together last night and Easter Sunday has been nice. We've even managed to keep Isaac's blood sugar levels low despite the large quantities of sugar products consumed.
This week, Matthew has 3 appointments and then his heart catheterization on Thursday. Surgery will be scheduled after that. Here we go!
